Job Summary
Ensure proper medical management of each resident and make daily visits to evaluate physical and emotional status. Act as a liaison between physicians, hospitals, family members, and medical personnel to ensure resident plans of care are followed. Supervise nursing service personnel, verify medication passes and scheduled treatments, and direct day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with current rules and guidelines. Think independently, supervise staff, and work as a team member for the good of the resident. This full-time role operates the 1st shift from 7 AM to 7 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Compassionate working with geriatric patients
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements
- Basic proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Nursing experience in a LTC or skilled nursing facility setting
