Job Summary
RN Supervisor to support planning, organizing, developing and directing nursing services to ensure high-quality resident care. Responsibilities include initiating and updating Plans of Care on admission, coordinating with consultants and Quality Assurance, notifying physicians and guardians of significant changes, reviewing grievances, managing emergencies, ensuring a safe and clean unit, documenting nursing care and assessments, participating in staff meetings, supervising nursing personnel, and upholding resident rights and professional standards. Requires an active nursing license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, leadership capabilities, and effective communication in English; at least one year of supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current nursing licensure in the state in which practicing
- At least one year of experience in supervision
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and spoken)
- Possess mental, emotional and physical health
