Job Summary
RN Supervisor coordinates the administrative and clinical functions for a defined resident population and time frame to ensure an effective and efficient environment for residents, family, and staff. Essential duties include ensuring nursing operational standards are met, providing reports on productivity, quality, and customer service metrics, informing family members about medical procedures and doctors' instructions, handling complaints, establishing a compassionate environment with psychological support, maintaining records of nurses' files and patient cases, handling admissions, and performing other assigned tasks. Qualifications emphasize 2-4 years of direct care experience, a nursing degree, California RN license, and CPR certification, with supervisory experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Nursing degree from accredited college or graduation from approved RN program required
- Must possess current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in California
- Current valid CPR certification required
- 2-4 years' experience providing direct care to multiple patients/residents preferred; previous experience in Skilled Nursing environment desirable; previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
