Job Summary
RN Supervisor - Orthopedics oversees planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the Orthopedics unit. Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients, may perform staff nurse duties as needed, and assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager. Requires active RN licensure, BLS (and additional certifications as required by the unit), and at least 2 years of patient-care experience. Evening, full-time schedule with Mercy St. Louis. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing program
- Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure
- BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
- ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/BLS/PALS/PEARS or other unit-specific certifications as required
- 2 years' experience in patient care
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
