Job Summary
Direct patient assignments, staff scheduling, and evaluations while managing utilization, productivity, and supplies to meet financial targets. Supervise RN Case Managers within the Case Management/Social Work Department, overseeing day-to-day patient care operations and team support. Handle conflict management, negotiation, and team building while coaching and mentoring staff. Coordinate patient flow and assist in budget administration. Requires current California RN license, BLS certification, and three years of healthcare experience with one year of supervisory experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved nursing program
- 3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry or healthcare setting
- Experience in Case Management and providing mentorship, education, and training to interdisciplinary staff
- 1 year of supervisory experience in an acute care hospital
- RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license
- BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- 1 year of supervisory experience in an acute care hospital
- ACM - Accredited Case Management Certification (ACMA)
