Assess, direct, manage, and evaluate the delivery of nursing care and patient support services to achieve specified standards of care and quality metrics for a designated patient population. Ensure streamlined patient care delivery systems that promote smooth transitions across the continuum while maintaining optimum unit systems, including staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and communication. Collaborate on the development and achievement of unit goals and performance improvement activities. Work with accountable leadership to ensure staff orientation, education, development, and evaluations are completed. Maintain current nursing licensure and BCLS certification within one month.
