Job Summary
RN responsible for consistent, safe, high-quality care of laboring patients from admission to post delivery; proficient in vaginal and C-section births, fetal monitoring, and care for patients receiving various types of anesthesia; provides care during the PACU period and newborn care for the first two hours of life; participates in an on-call schedule; requires L&D experience and ability to care for women of childbearing age and infants up to four years old.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
- L&D experience
- ACLS within 90 days
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring within 1 year
- BCLS within 30 days
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 1 year
- Neonate Resuscitate within 90 days
- Associate Degree (BSN within 24 months)
- Minimum 3 years RN Women Services experience in hospital
