Job Summary
RN in Women Services responsible for consistent, safe, high-quality care of laboring patients from admission to post-delivery, including vaginal and C-section births, fetal monitoring, care during PACU, and newborn care in first two hours of life. Requires ACLS, advanced fetal monitoring, BLS, neonatal resuscitation, and L&D expertise; must be an RN licensed in Texas (compact accepted) with an Associate Degree (BSN within 24 months). Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience in Women Services in a hospital setting; on-call availability; L&D experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- RN - Texas license (compact or multi-state accepted)
- Associate Degree (BSN within 24 months)
- Minimum 3 years RN experience in Women Services (L&D, Mother Baby, Antepartum) in hospital setting
- ACLS within 90 days
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring within 1 year
- Basic Life Support within 30 days
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 1 year
- Neonate Resuscitation within 90 days
- Ability to care for women of childbearing age and infants up to 4 years old
- On-call schedule participation
- L&D experience
