Job Summary
RN - Super Pool Women Services at Medical City Dallas: responsible for consistent, safe, high-quality care of laboring patients from admission to post-delivery, including vaginal and cesarean births, fetal monitoring, anesthesia recovery (PACU), and newborn care during the first two hours of life; requires ACLS, AFM, BCLS, I-Fetal Monitoring, and Neonate Resuscitation certifications within specified timelines, Texas RN license (compact/multi-state accepted), BSN required within 24 months, and minimum of three years’ Women Services RN experience; role includes on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse in the State of Texas
- Advance Cardiac Life Support within 90 days
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring within 1 year
- Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 1 year
- Neonate Resuscitation within 90 days
- Associate Degree required
- BSN to be obtained within 24 months
- Minimum 3 years RN experience in Women Services (L&D, Mother Baby, Antepartum)
- L&D experience preferred
- On-call schedule participation
- Newborn care for infants up to four years old
