Directly supervise employees by interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, and addressing complaints in accordance with facility policies and applicable laws. Coordinate care and services for all residents while conducting quality assessment and assurance activities, including regulatory compliance rounds. Ensure proper assessment of prospective residents prior to admission and audit clinical records for accuracy and completeness. Develop staffing plans to meet direct care needs and maintain compliance with federal and state requirements. Maintain 24-hour availability as a nursing administration resource through on-call and telephone access. Requires one year of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility, six months in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices, and a current California RN license.
