RN Substitute School Nurse (Per Diem) for Baltimore and surrounding Maryland counties. Provides school-day coverage across various school settings, including with students who have special needs, ensuring safety, health, and readiness to learn. Flexible scheduling, per diem shifts, and weekly pay. Requires Maryland RN license (or MR compact license), pediatric/school nursing experience (min 1 year in pediatric/school nursing), BLS, strong documentation, and ability to travel between multiple school locations. Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in Maryland, or valid multistate compact RN license with privilege to practice in Maryland
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, including at least 1 year in pediatric and/or school nursing
- Current BLS (CPR) certification
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work confidently and compassionately with school-aged children and adolescents, including those with special needs
- Willingness to travel to and work in more than one school location as assigned
