Job Summary
Coordinates the Memorial Hermann Stroke Program to ensure approval standards by the TJC and SETRAC. Strong Neuro ICU background preferred, ED background considered if knowledgeable in Stroke. Responsibilities include analyzing patient records and stroke data, chairing the Stroke Committee, preparing stroke incidence reports, coordinating stroke educational activities, collaborating with the stroke medical director and other department leaders, ensuring safe patient care, and advancing professional growth while delivering compassionate, personalized experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Current State of Texas license/permit to practice professional nursing
- Certified in Basic Life Support
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification
- Three (3) years clinical nursing experience in Neuroscience, Intensive Care or Emergency Medicine
