Job Summary
Conduct night shift inpatient care from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and monitoring patient conditions. Accurately document patient outcomes in the electronic health record and communicate effectively with physicians and advanced practice providers. Provide patient education on care plans and discharge instructions while advocating for patient safety and responding to clinical changes. This full-time, 0.9 FTE role includes a night shift differential and sign-on bonus eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Current State of Minnesota RN license
- Current American Heart BLS certification
- Current American Heart ACLS certification
- ICU, ER, Medical, Surgical or OB experience
- 2+ years' experience working night shifts
- 5+ years of Hospital Inpatient experience
- Must work well under pressure
- Sensitive to concerns and confidentiality of the patient
- Ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to work at night through the early morning hours
- Strong communication skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems
- Proficiency in office software
