Job Summary

Obtain comprehensive patient data from patients, families, and providers to develop a holistic care picture. Analyze assessment findings to determine relevant diagnoses and collaborate with the interprofessional team to identify optimal outcomes. Develop and implement care plans using clinical judgment to promote a safe environment, while evaluating progress toward goals. Contribute to quality nursing practice by integrating evidence-based strategies and maintaining current competence. Communicate effectively in all practice areas and apply scientific knowledge to address age-specific and clinical needs. Maintain constant alertness and perform assigned duties in accordance with established protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
  • State of Work Location: Missouri
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Issued by Compact State
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) - Emergency Nurses Association (ENA)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - American Academy Pediatrics (AAP)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - Emergency Nurses Association (ENA)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Essentials - American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
  • Constant use of speech to share information through oral communication
  • Constant standing and walking
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs
  • Frequent sitting, reaching and keyboard use/data entry
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors
  • Frequent use of smell to detect/recognize odors
  • Frequent use of hearing to receive oral communication, distinguish body sounds and/or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs
  • Occasional lifting/moving of patients
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements
  • Occasional driving
  • Rare crawling and running
  • Night Shift (United States of America)
  • Full time
  • 7pm-7am varying days with every 3rd weekend, holiday requirement, no on call requirement
