Job Summary
Provide nursing care for a group of patients during the 7pm-7am shift, employing the nursing process and collaboration with the health care team. Supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Unit Assistants, Monitor Technicians, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nurse Technicians, unit clerks and Paramedic technicians. Emphasis on delivering world-class healthcare close to home within St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA; requires current LA RN licensure and active BLS/ALS/PALS certifications. Per diem role with responsibilities focused on patient care, supervision, and adherence to organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully completed Board Certified Nursing Program
- Current LA RN licensure
- Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications (ALS/PALS within 6 months of hire) through any ILCOR provided courses (e.g., AHA, Red Cross) including manikin check off
