Job Summary
Assess patients, diagnose conditions, plan care, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes while directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical practices. Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and desired outcomes. Requires 2 years of endoscopy experience or 5 years of RN experience in Surgical Services, Critical Care, or Medical-Surgical Nursing. Must hold an Alabama RN license, current BLS certification, and obtain ACLS within 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a School of Professional Nursing
- Must provide documented evidence to perform waived testing
- 2 years of endoscopy experience
- 5 years of RN nursing experience in various clinical settings including Surgical Services, Critical Care or Medical-Surgical Nursing
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS Certification
