Job Summary
Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within an assigned department or unit while adhering to Legacy Health System standards for patient assessment and transfer. Collaborate with the health care team under the direction of the clinical manager or designee, performing all aspects of the nursing process including patient care and transfer protocols. Maintain positive interpersonal communication with colleagues, patients, families, and physicians while navigating electronic systems. Requires current state RN license, BLS certification, and one year of nursing experience. BSN preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current applicable state RN license
- BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
- One-year registered nursing experience or completion of either the Legacy Health RN Residency program or a nursing program that is equivalent in content, curriculum and duration
- BSN or degree in progress
- Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians and the community
- Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions
