Job Summary
Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the Outpatient Cardiopulmonary Clinic and Nuclear Medicine. Collaborate with the health care team under the direction of the clinical manager or designee while adhering to Legacy Health System standards for patient assessment and transfer. Perform all aspects of the nursing process, including patient care standards and transfer protocols, as a registered nurse. Requires current state RN license, BLS certification, and one year of nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current applicable state RN license
- BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
- One-year registered nursing experience
- Completion of either the Legacy Health RN Residency program or a nursing program that is equivalent in content, curriculum and duration
Desired Qualifications
- BSN or degree in progress
- BSN
- Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians and the community
- Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions
