Job Summary
Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for adults with acute coronary syndrome, chest pain, congestive heart failure, and post-procedure needs within the cardiac care unit. Coordinate with physicians, families, and the broader health care team under clinical manager direction to manage telemetry monitoring, pacemaker placements, and dialysis patients. Maintain positive communication with colleagues and community members while navigating electronic systems and adhering to established Legacy Health standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current applicable state RN license
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers
- One-year registered nursing experience
- Completion of either the Legacy Health RN Residency program or a nursing program that is equivalent in content, curriculum and duration
Desired Qualifications
- BSN or degree in progress
- Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians and the community
- Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions
