Job Summary
Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for infants, children, and teens during inter-facility transport to Randall Children's Hospital and other designated facilities. Collaborate with respiratory therapists and function under the supervision of the Transport Medical Director to ensure quality care standards are met. Maintain positive communication with colleagues, patients, and families while navigating electronic systems. Requires both Oregon and Washington state RN licensure, current BLS, and NRP/PALS certification prior to orientation.
Required Qualifications
- Registered, licensed nurse in Washington and Oregon
- Three years of registered nursing neonatal and/or pediatric intensive care clinical experience within the last five years
- Both Oregon and Washington state RN licensure
- Current BLS
- NRP and PALS
- TNCC certification within 1 year of hire
- BSN or degree in progress
- Maximum weight for a crew member is 250 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- BSN (specifically preferred over required status in text)
- Experience in neonatal and/or pediatric transport
- Experience in adult ICU
- Experience in dedicated Children's emergency department
- Experience in PICU or NICU setting
