Job Summary
Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the PACU unit following established Legacy Health standards. Coordinate with the clinical manager and healthcare team to manage patient transfers and assessments. Maintain positive communication with colleagues, patients, and families while utilizing electronic systems for documentation. Requires current state RN license, AHA BLS certification, and one year of nursing experience with preference for PACU or critical care background. Must be available for the 45-minute call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Current applicable state RN license
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers
- One-year registered nursing experience
- Completion of either the Legacy Health RN Residency program or a nursing program that is equivalent in content, curriculum and duration
- Must be available to meet the 45-minute call requirement
Desired Qualifications
- BSN or degree in progress
- Previous PACU, emergency or critical care nursing experience
