Job Summary
Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the PACU unit following established Legacy Health System standards. Collaborate with the health care team under clinical manager direction to manage patient assessment and transfer protocols across 23 adult and 8 pediatric bays. Demonstrate positive communication skills with colleagues, patients, and families while navigating electronic systems. Must meet the 45-minute call requirement and hold current state RN licensure with AHA BLS certification. Previous PACU, emergency, or critical care experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current applicable state RN license
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers
- One-year registered nursing experience
- Completion of either the Legacy Health RN Residency program or a nursing program that is equivalent in content, curriculum and duration
- Must be able to meet the 45 minute call requirement
Desired Qualifications
- BSN or degree in progress
- Previous PACU, emergency or critical care nursing experience
