Job Summary
Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for critically ill and premature infants within the assigned Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Collaborate with the health care team under clinical manager direction to follow established Legacy Health standards for patient assessment and transfer. Provide evidence-based care to infants born up to 16 weeks early, including those weighing under a pound, utilizing positive communication skills with families and physicians. Requires current state RN license, BLS certification, and one year of nursing experience, with recent NICU experience strongly preferred. BSN or degree in progress is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current applicable state RN license
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers
- One-year registered nursing experience
- Completion of either the Legacy Health RN Residency program or a nursing program that is equivalent in content, curriculum and duration

- Recent NICU experience
