Job Summary
Provide direct, compassionate patient care in the adult inpatient cancer department while assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans with interdisciplinary teams. Advocate for patients through education and emotional support, utilizing cutting-edge electronic health systems to accurately document information. Work with specialists to coordinate holistic care for complex oncology surgical cases, medical oncology including chemotherapy infusion, end-of-life/palliative care, and autologous stem cell transplantation. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of nursing experience. BSN strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program as required by licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- At least one year of nursing experience, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program (or equivalent program)

- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
- Acute care experience
- Strong desire to learn and grow
