Job Summary
Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the Labor & Delivery unit while adhering to Legacy Health System standards for patient assessment and transfer. Function as a member of the health care team under the direction of the clinical manager, collaborating with physicians, colleagues, and families to provide comprehensive nursing services. Maintain current state RN licensure and BLS certification. This role supports East County's full-service hospital, which offers advanced imaging and surgical services to meet growing community needs.
Required Qualifications
- Current applicable state RN license
- BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
- One-year registered nursing experience
- Completion of either the Legacy Health RN Residency program or a nursing program that is equivalent in content, curriculum and duration
Desired Qualifications
- BSN or degree in progress
- Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians and the community
- Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions
