Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a 23-bed adult emergency department, ensuring safety and compassion while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Provide direct patient care, advocate for patients through education and emotional support, and leverage electronic health systems to document information accurately. Maintain current RN licensure and BLS certification. This role supports a team managing 45,000 annual visits with specialized pathways for elders and behavioral health patients.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program as required by licensure
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- At least one year of nursing experience, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program (or equivalent program)
- Ability to navigate and utilize electronic health systems
Desired Qualifications
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
- Additional clinical experience, depending on the department
