Job Summary
RN Staff Nurse CVOR at LCMC Health's Children's Hospital. Provides perioperative cardiovascular nursing care with required certifications (BLS-HCP, ACLS; ONCC chemotherapy immunotherapy; CMSRN). Full-time, variable shifts; must hold a Louisiana RN license and legal right to work in the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- Louisiana license to practice professional nursing (RN) or temporary permit
- American Heart Association BLS-HCP certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification within 2 years of hire
- CMSRN certification (Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse) or MSNCB credential
Desired Qualifications
- CVOR or perioperative nursing experience
- Oncology infusion or chemotherapy administration experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work variable shifts in a fast-paced environment
Additional Requirements
- Proof of citizenship or immigration status required to verify lawful right to work in the United States
- Louisiana RN license required to practice
