Job Summary
Assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the Children's Emergency Department following established Legacy Health standards. Collaborate with the healthcare team, physicians, and families to deliver safe, family-centered care for infants, children, and teens. Navigate electronic systems and demonstrate strong communication skills while adhering to the clinical manager's direction. Requires current state RN license, AHA BLS certification, and one year of nursing experience; pediatric ED experience preferred. This role supports a robust shared governance system focused on playfulness and autonomy in a state-of-the-art regional pediatric center.
Required Qualifications
- Current applicable state RN license
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers
- One-year registered nursing experience
- Completion of either the Legacy Health RN Residency program or a nursing program that is equivalent in content, curriculum and duration
Desired Qualifications
- BSN or degree in progress
- Pediatric ED experience
- Adult ED experience
- Strong Pediatric experience
- Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians and the community
- Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions
