RN Staff Flex - Surgical Trauma ICU/Step Down - FT - 1st Shift

Maintain established standards of care by administering professional nursing care to patients in the Surgical Trauma ICU or Step Down unit. Identify patient needs and priorities through assessment, then plan and delegate care based on those requirements. Evaluate patient responses to interventions and track progress toward expected outcomes while remaining accountable for shift-specific results. Obtain BLS during orientation and acquire ACLS within the first six months, ensuring all department competencies are completed during the provisional period. Work independently in a fast-paced environment requiring frequent prioritization and task changes, utilizing knowledge of all equipment and materials from the Nursing Service Procedure Manual.
