Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice under physician direction in Pain Management. Assist physicians in patient treatment and complete related clinical paperwork. Embrace Mercy's philosophy of caring for the sick with respect for life and dignity, applying Christian values in care. PRN (as-needed) scheduling; comply with federal/state/local regulations and organization policies. Requires graduation from an approved nursing program and active RN licensure with state/compact recognition; BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire. Duties are in line with Mercy Health System standards, including collaborative patient care and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Licensure: Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
