Job Summary
Direct patient care in a Mother Baby specialty unit with responsibilities including delegating to ancillary staff, educating patients and families, coordinating across disciplines for disposition/referral, planning and evaluating care based on assessments, maintaining clinical ladder requirements, and meeting unit-specific credentialing and certification requirements (ACLS/BLS/NRP/PALS) with pediatric OB/NICU considerations; requires completion of an accredited nursing program and active Florida RN license, along with ongoing certifications and at least one year of nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited Nursing Program (Required)
- RN license in Florida
- ACLS Certification (AHA/ECARD)
- BLS Certification
- NRP Certification
- PALS Certification (for Pediatric areas)
- Fetal Monitoring certification
- RN Fellowship requirements (if applicable)
- One year of nursing experience
- Certification in chemotherapy/biotherapy (as applicable)
- Ability to obtain additional pediatric-specific credentials within specified timelines
- Ability to work in high-stress environments
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
