Job Summary
RN Specialty (ICU) in Norwalk, CA — provides professional nursing care in an acute-care ICU setting, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, intervene and advocate for patients, documents and communicates changes, monitors patient response and discharge readiness, and supports plan-of-care development and referrals. Requires CA RN licensure, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and BLS; six months of acute-care experience; ability to work variable shifts (nights/weekends/holidays). Preferred BSN and bilingual skills.
Required Qualifications
- Active, current, and unencumbered Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- AHA Basic Life Support
- Six months of nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to maintain flexibility and composure in a constantly changing environment
