Job Summary
Deploy staff education aligned with system initiatives, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based best practices. Optimize frontline performance through didactic training, just-in-time coaching, and documentation support. Collaborate with subject matter experts to align specialty care with current standards and facilitate deployment of system programs. Provide specialty feedback for clinical best practices and EHR optimization while supporting onboarding and representing the defined specialty on hospital committees. Requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS certification, and proficiency in Electronic Health Records software. Located in Petaluma, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records software
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Current Advanced Life Saving as appropriate for area of specialty
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Three years of recent experience as a clinical nurse / area of specialty ie. perinatal, critical care, emergency, perioperative, or medical surgical
- Experience in education
- Certification in Specialty Area
