Job Summary
Deploy staff education within defined specialties by delivering just-in-time training, elbow-side support, and coaching on clinical performance and EHR documentation. Validate adoption of system programs and initiatives while partnering with subject matter experts to align specialty care with current evidence and standards. Provide specialty feedback to drive system-wide development and growth for clinical best practices. Support specialty onboarding processes and represent the defined specialty on assigned hospital committees. Requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS certification, and proficiency in electronic health records software.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records software
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Current Advanced Life Saving as appropriate for area of specialty
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Three years of recent experience as a clinical nurse / area of specialty ie. perinatal, critical care, emergency, perioperative, or medical surgical
- Experience in education
- Certification in Specialty Area
