Job Summary
Deploy staff education aligned with system initiatives, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based best practices through didactic, elbow-side support, and just-in-time training. Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate adoption of specialty programs and coordinate coaching on clinical performance and documentation. Partner with department leadership to identify educational needs, provide feedback for system-wide growth, and support specialty onboarding processes. Represent the defined specialty on assigned hospital committees. Requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS certification, EHR proficiency, and three years of recent clinical nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records software
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Current Advanced Life Saving as appropriate for area of specialty
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
- Access to and understanding of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Three years of recent experience as a clinical nurse / area of specialty ie. perinatal, critical care, emergency, perioperative, or medical surgical
- Experience in education
- Certification in Specialty Area
