Job Summary

RN Specialty Clinical Educator role drives staff education within defined specialty aligned with system initiatives and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include delivering didactic and just-in-time education, coordinating with subject-matter experts to ensure evidence-based practice and system-wide alignment, supporting specialty onboarding and clinical performance, and providing coaching on EHR documentation and clinical best practices. The position participates in hospital committees to advocate for specialty education and participates in system programs and initiatives related to the defined specialty (perinatal, critical care, emergency, perioperative, or medical-surgical). Requires RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS as applicable, with preferred Bachelor’s in nursing and relevant education experience.

Required Qualifications

  • RN licensure: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in nursing: Preferred
  • Three years of recent experience as a clinical nurse / area of specialty: Preferred
  • Experience in education: Preferred
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Records software: Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
  • Current Advanced Life Saving (as appropriate for area of specialty): Required
  • AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
  • Facility Specific Licenses/Certifications: BLS: Required
