Job Summary
RN, Specialty Clinical Educator role focused on deploying staff education within defined specialty and aligning with system initiatives. Responsible for optimizing frontline performance through didactic, hands-on support, and just-in-time education across units, coordinating with specialty subject-matter experts, and supporting onboarding and EHR documentation. Requires RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and EHR proficiency, with preferred Bachelor’s degree and several years of clinical-education experience. Location: Saint Helena, CA; duties include collaboration with department leadership, participation on hospital committees, and contributing to system-wide clinical best practices and education-related process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience (Preferred)
- Three years of recent experience as a clinical nurse / area of specialty (Preferred)
- Experience in education (Preferred)
- Licenses/Certifications: RN licensure (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
- Current Advanced Life Saving appropriate for area of specialty (Required)
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS (Required)
- Facility Specific License/Certifications: BLS per AH policy (Required)
- EHR proficiency (Required)
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure

- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) software
