Job Summary
Deploy staff education aligned with system initiatives, regulatory requirements, and evidence-based best practices. Deliver just-in-time training, elbow-side support, and coaching to optimize frontline clinical performance and documentation. Collaborate with subject matter experts to facilitate alignment of specialty care with current evidence and standards. Validate adoption of system programs and provide feedback to support system-wide development and EHR optimization. Partner with department leadership to identify educational needs and achieve organizational outcomes. Support specialty onboarding and participate in assigned hospital committees to represent the defined specialty.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records software
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Current Advanced Life Saving as appropriate for area of specialty
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- All required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
- Three years of recent experience as a clinical nurse / area of specialty ie. perinatal, critical care, emergency, perioperative, or medical surgical
- Experience in education
- Certification in Specialty Area
