Job Summary
Oncology RN (specialty clinic) at Cherry County Hospital & Clinic in Valentine, NE. Provide direct nursing care for oncology and hematology patients, administer chemotherapy and blood products, monitor patient response and side effects, manage venous access devices, perform phlebotomy and IV access procedures, educate patients and families on treatment plans, support emotional and psychosocial needs, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska
- Obtain (prior to May 1st, 2024) and maintain oncology certification
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- Experience in oncology preferred
