Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients at the Specialty Clinic - Infusion. Maintain professional accountability for care provision and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Perform duties consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards. Requires current RN license, BLS certification, and ability to lift 50 pounds with prolonged standing and walking. Full-time day shift at Pratt Cancer Center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Ability to meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to perform prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire

- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization) Six Assessment & Care Modules
- C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
