Job Summary
Perform and document pre/post and procedural monitoring, communicating patient condition and recording all interventions per standards of practice. Ensure safety checklists and specialized nursing interventions are implemented and documented for a complex patient population in a complex environment. Respond to life-threatening situations utilizing nursing standards and protocols, evaluating learning needs and providing patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, and condition. Work within scope of job requiring critical thinking skills and decisive judgment in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
