Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for postpartum patients with multi-system issues. Gather data through history taking and physical assessment to interpret patient status and identify age-specific needs. Develop, evaluate, and revise patient care plans while administering medications and documenting progress toward desired outcomes. Teach patients and families about the care plan and prepare them for discharge, transfer, or procedures. Direct and supervise unlicensed personnel in delegated nursing activities. Work nights for 30 hours per week. Requires BSN preferred, one year prior clinical experience, and RN licensure in New Hampshire.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse - New Hampshire Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
- One year prior clinical nursing experience
- Evidence of experience in working effectively and positively with patients, care providers, and the multi-disciplinary team
- Evidence of the ability to perform as a member of a team
- Must regularly lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 pounds
- Must frequently lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 - 25 pounds
- Must occasionally lift, carry or push/pull up to 20 - 50 pounds
- Must have color vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have far vision
- Must have near vision
- Must have peripheral vision
