Job Summary
RN – Emergency Department, night shift in Aurora, CO at AdventHealth Southlands. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors; develop and implement individualized care plans; administer medications and treatments per physician orders; educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care; coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care; maintain timely documentation; ensure infection-control and safety compliance; provide emotional support to patients and families; supervise and delegate care; respond to code events and participate in performance-improvement activities. Must be an RN with current license and BLS; associate degree required with nursing as a minimum; Bachelor's degree preferred. Night shift, full-time, with a $15K sign-on bonus referenced in the job title.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Associate's degree in Nursing required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- 1+ year acute care hospital setting preferred
- EKG knowledge may be required per unit needs
