Job Summary
Registered Nurse in Solid Organ Transplant Progressive Care Unit (PCU) delivering high-quality, patient-centered care for transplant patients. Responsible for assessing patients on admission and during shifts, performing procedures and medications administration, documenting care, and educating patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures. Collaboration with medical providers and care team to ensure positive clinical outcomes and adherence to nursing standards; supports with advancement of skills within a Magnet Hospital context.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- (RN) Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree; BSN required w/12 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital)
- Minimum 1 year Acute Care RN experience required; PCU and Transplant experience preferred
