Job Summary
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care as a Solid Organ Transplant Progressive Care RN in the Transplant PCU. Assess patients at admission and each shift, perform prescribed procedures and documentation, administer medications, monitor therapeutic responses, respond to patient needs promptly, and educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures. Requires ADN/BSN preparation with BSN maintenance enrollment, ACLS and BLS certifications within specified timelines, and at least 1 year of acute care RN experience with PCU/Transplant experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- RN (Registered Nurse)
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent
- BSN required with 12 month enrollment and 24 month completion
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS) within 30 days of start date
- Minimum 1 year Acute Care RN experience; PCU and Transplant experience preferred
