Job Summary
Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee. Participate in patient and family teaching while working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other team personnel to maintain professional practice standards. Provide care appropriate to the age groups of patients regularly served in the Med Surg/Tele unit at St. Luke's Hospital. This role involves a 36-hour day or evening shift with weekend and holiday rotation from 7:00am to 7:00pm. Candidates must hold a current Massachusetts RN license, BLS certification, and an accredited nursing degree, with three months of experience preferred. Fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or exempt per policy.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- 36hrs
- Day/Evening shift with weekend and holiday rotation
- 7:00am - 7:00pm
