Job Summary
Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee, while participating in patient and family teaching. Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain professional nursing practice standards within the assigned unit. Possess knowledge and skills appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. Schedule includes 36 hours across day and evening shifts with weekend and holiday rotation from 7:00am to 7:00pm at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. This role requires current RN licensure in Massachusetts, BLS certification, and flu and COVID-19 vaccination, with three months of experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- Must be available for weekend and holiday rotation
- Must be available for Day/Evening shift
