Job Summary
Directly supervise employees, conducting interviews, hiring, training, and performance appraisals while addressing complaints and resolving problems. Coordinate care services, improve implementation of plans of care, and ensure quality of life for all residents. Conduct quality assessment activities, including regulatory compliance rounds, and audit clinical records for accuracy and completeness. Develop staffing plans to meet direct care needs and maintain compliance with federal and state requirements. Ensure 24-hour availability as a nursing administration resource through on-call and telephone access. Lead or participate in interdisciplinary conferences to develop adequate plans of care. Requires one year of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility, six months of training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing, and a current California RN license.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility
- 6 months training experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
- Clear/Current Registered Nurse license in the state of California
