Job Summary
Directly supervise employees by interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, and addressing complaints in accordance with facility policies and applicable laws. Coordinate care services, improve plan implementation, and conduct quality assessment activities including regulatory compliance rounds across all departments. Ensure proper assessment of prospective residents prior to admission and audit clinical records for accuracy and completeness. Develop staffing plans to meet direct care needs and maintain compliance with federal and state requirements. Maintain 24-hour availability as a nursing administration resource through on-call and telephone access or designating qualified alternatives. Lead or participate in interdisciplinary conferences to develop adequate plans of care. Requires one year of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility, six months in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices, and a current California RN license. Full-time or part-time shifts available with competitive salary.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility
- 6 months training experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
- Clear/Current Registered Nurse license in the state of California
