Job Summary
Directly supervise employees by interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, and addressing complaints in accordance with facility policies and laws. Coordinate care services, improve plan implementation, and conduct quality assessment rounds to monitor performance across all departments. Ensure proper resident assessments prior to admission, including home or hospital visits, and audit clinical records for accuracy and comprehensive documentation. Develop staffing plans to meet direct care needs and maintain compliance with federal and state requirements. Maintain 24-hour availability as an administration resource through on-call or designated staff access. Lead interdisciplinary conferences to develop adequate care plans. Requires one year of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility, six months in rehabilitative nursing, and a current California RN license.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility
- 6 months training experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices
- Clear/Current Registered Nurse license in the state of California
